Comparative Costs of Renewable Electricity Sources

An interesting price comparison of alternative energy sources. It's patently clear that photovoltaic solar is presently uneconomic. Geothermal looks interesting, but the capital costs of getting at it are somewhat of a mystery.

Vermont would do well to continue its relationship with HydroQuebec as a principal supplier of our baseload electricity needs. They are also developing wind resources in far northern Quebec which will be integrated into their supply.
