The New York Times > Arts > Wal-Mart, a Nation Unto Itself

A fascinating article about Wal-Mart's influence on capitalism, the world economy and nearly everything else. Many academics don't like them, but customers and consumers do. Imagine, 20 million customers a day walk through their doors.

And RVs are welcome to spend the night in the Wal-Mart parking lot!
