Broadband becomes a campaign issue. Immediately after this announcement, Kerry was attacking Bush on not doing enough to promote broadband buttressed by a letter to the President from senators supporting the Democratic position. Is it not possible for the parties to agree on anything? I suppose they agree on the goal, but seldom the method, particularly in such a hotly contested election year.
