The New York Times > Washington > Senate Extends Until 2007 Ban on Internet Access Tax

Eliminate all state and local taxes on Internet access for sure, but also move to eliminate taxes on all telecom taxes. This is a sure-fire way to stimulate penetration of telecom services.
